Basic Milk Foam:

Ingredients

  1. Cold milk (whole milk or any milk of your choice)
  2. Optional: Sweetener (sugar, honey, etc.)

Equipment:

  1. HyggeNook's Milk Frother

Instructions:

  1. Pour Cold Milk: Start with cold milk.
  2. Fill the glass: Look for the fill line.  Also a good tip is to keep the glass cold in the refrigerator before frothing. 
  3. Optional: Add Sweetener: If you prefer a sweetened foam, add your choice of sweetener to the milk before frothing. You can use sugar, honey, or any sweetener of your choice.  We prefer using a mix of half milk and half flavored creamer - if you can find the Chobani Sweet Cream it'll taste like the foam you get at your favorite coffee shop
  4. Froth the Milk: Immerse the frother into the milk and turn it on. Move the frother up and down in the milk for about 20-30 seconds or until the milk has doubled in volume and has a creamy froth
  5. Pour and Enjoy: Pour the cold milk foam over your favorite cold beverage, such as iced coffee or iced tea.
Now you have a delicious cold milk foam to enhance your cold drinks!

 

Whipped Cream:

Ingredients:

  1. Cold heavy cream
  2. Optional: Sweetener (powdered sugar, vanilla extract, etc.)

Equipment:

  1. HyggeNook's Whipped cream dispenser
  2. Nitrous oxide (N2O) charger

Instructions:

  1. Chill the Dispenser: Make sure the whipped cream dispenser is clean and well-chilled in the refrigerator.

  2. Pour Heavy Cream: Pour cold heavy cream into the whipped cream dispenser. Leave some space at the top to allow for expansion.

  3. Optional: Add Sweetener: If you want sweetened foam, add your preferred sweetener to the heavy cream in the dispenser. You can use powdered sugar, vanilla extract, or any sweetener of your choice.

  4. Seal and Charge: Attach the head of the whipped cream dispenser securely. Insert a nitrous oxide charger into the dispenser according to the manufacturer's instructions. Shake the dispenser well to distribute the gas.

  5. Dispense Foam: Hold the dispenser upside down and press the lever to dispense the foam. You should have a creamy and airy foam.

  6. Serve: Dispense the foam over your favorite beverage or dessert.

  7. Optional: Garnish: You can garnish the foam with a sprinkle of cocoa, cinnamon, or any topping of your choice.
